Thank you for all the thoughtful words everyone! To answer Dr Sobeck’s question, the advise I would give to students about overcoming anxiety when stepping into professional roles is just that, that they are students! Remember that you are there to learn, and it’s okay to ask questions. Just hold yourself to a professional standard, and be okay with the learning process, which includes the occasional mistake!
