Amy Lind to Present Lecture on Gendered (Im)mobilities at the U.S.-Mexico Border

WOOSTER, Ohio 鈥 Amy Lind, the Mary Ellen Heintz Professor and Head of the Department of Women鈥檚, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Cincinnati will present 鈥淕endered (Im)mobilities at the U.S.-Mexico Border: From 9/11 to the Trump Era,鈥 on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 7:30 p.m., in聽Lean Lecture Room of Wishart Hall (303 E. University St.)聽at 69直播. She will discussher most recent book聽鈥淔eminist (Im)mobilities in Fortressing North America,鈥 and how the US-Mexico border has long served as a point of contention yet also as a meeting point; as both a site of transgression as well as a site of legal regulation and containment.
